ESL TUTOR NEEDED


Are you looking for a way to help someone learn English so they can read to a child? Get a job? Become a U.S. citizen? Do you have experience helping adults learn English? Do you have some free time on Monday or Wednesday morning?
If you answered "YES," CWEP’s Volunteer Coordinator would love to talk with you.

Our ESL instructor needs YOU to help during our regularly scheduled class by working one-on-one with an adult student. The ESL class meets on Monday and Wednesday mornings from 9am - 12pm.

Preferred skills and experience:
  • ESL teaching or tutoring experience
  • Fluent in the English language
  • Associates degree or higher preferred


MATH TUTOR NEEDED

Are comfortable with basic math exercises?  

Community Women's Education Project (CWEP) instructors need your help in the classroom. 

Classes meet for 1 1/2 hours Mon - Thurs, from 9am - 2pm

Tutors also needed on Friday mornings to work one-on-one with fast track students.

HELP our adult learners gain skills and self-confidence; CONTRIBUTE to our workforce training programs; BE PART of a community revitalization effort; GAIN experience and satisfaction.

Community Women’s Education Project invites business partners to work with us, helping to strengthen the lives of individuals and families in the Kensington community. 

Through your support, you can:

Community Women’s Education Project corporate partnerships come in many different forms.  Local companies can:

·        Coordinate events

·        Host fundraisers

·        Donate goods & services to our programs

·        Adopt a CWEP’s Kids class

·        Offer work-ready workshops to our adult students
